Fibreboards Underlay are natural insulating under floor panels for laminate or engineered flooring.
These 5.5mm fibreboards offer improved sound reduction and help to eliminate unevenness in the sub floor making them ideal for use over wooden floor boards.
This is of great importance because installing your product on an uneven subfloor can lead to a variety of problems.
There is also improved sound reduction with this product, which makes this a popular choice in offices where the noise of people walking across the floor can cause a distraction.
Each pack contains 7m2.

Excellent quality. These level the flooring and provide a little extra bounce and a little less squeak to the real wood flooring. They also help to maintain warmth in the room. These higher quality boards are worth the extra cost, in my opinion, as they are so easy and convenient to lay and they add that little extra strength because of their depth and substance. Mine were lightly damaged around the edges because they were bound too tightly to the delivery crate and, although that is of nigh-zero consequence, it may be worth bearing in mind if UK Flooring want all 5-star ratings.

Easy to use, softer that hardboard but seem to give good sound reduction and I'm sure will give good insulation in the winter. Had to sometimes double or triple up over our uneven floorboards to avoid bowing of the flooring.\nI wonder if it was a little firmer it would help as on uneven floor boards you can begin to see the outline of the floorboards coming through in some areas.
