Here at UK Flooring Direct, we know that receiving your floor on time and in perfect condition is just as important as getting a great price and that’s why we use only the best couriers to deliver your new flooring. For much of the UK we operate a fixed cost Standard Delivery of just £35.00 (including VAT). If you fall outside of our Standard Delivery area, the charge for delivery will be based upon your postcode, you can use the postcode checker that is located in the checkout page. Check out our Terms & Conditions for more information.
Why not collect your new floor?
With our free Click & Collect service, you can pick up your order from our Coventry showroom and distribution centre. Simply select Warehouse Collection when you order. You can pick your floor immediately within our opening hours from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturdays. Collection times may vary at peak holiday periods, call 02476 012 840.
How long will your floor take to arrive?
We know that you want to start enjoying your new floor as soon as possible, so we aim to despatch all of our floors to arrive at your home within just two to three-days, though you can also request an exact date if you are using your floor in a new project that’s not quite ready yet. If you are in a real hurry, why not take advantage of our Next Day service. Next Day orders must be received and paid for in full before 5pm Monday to Thursday. Next Day delivery is not available on weekends or bank holidays and is subject to stock.
What can I expect when my delivery arrives?
As you can imagine, flooring is a bulky item so all deliveries are made to the kerbside at the nearest access point possible for the delivery vehicle at the address given. Your new floor will arrive on a large lorry, so it assumed that your address is easily accessible by such vehicles. If there are access problems, for example the road is subject to weight or width restrictions, please inform us at the time of order.
Due to the nature of the delivery, the driver may need help unloading and it is your responsibility to carry the goods in to your home. With this in mind, please make sure you are at home on the delivery date and have some assistance if required. If you are not able to provide a signature on the arranged date then you will be charged for re-delivery. Deliveries will be made from 8am to 6pm and we are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as deliveries are at the courier’s discretion. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late delivery, or for any other reason. Therefore, we advise against booking an installation service until the goods have been received. Deliveries cannot be left outside, in porches, garages or any other location.
What happens if my new floor arrives damaged?
Just like you, we want your floor to arrive in perfect condition, so we make every effort to ensure that this is the case. However, please inspect your goods immediately upon receipt. No claim with regards to damaged items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless the product has been signed for as ‘damaged on delivery’. Goods refused on delivery found to be damaged on return will incur a return delivery charge. Claims for damaged goods must be made within 14-days of receipt.
