Engineered wood flooring offers the timeless beauty of real wood with, as the name suggests, a little bit of extra engineering to help make it more resistant to daily wear and tear. Our floors feature a multi-layer core which adds stability and makes them less likely to warp or shrink in humid conditions. It performs best in high-traffic areas like the hallway, living room and kitchen.

Our own-brand engineered wood flooring comes in two installation options. For easy DIY, use the click-lock system of our Home Choice range. For a professional install, use the tongue-and-groove system of our Galleria Professional range. Both are durable, stylish, and great value.

You can choose from wood species like oak and ash in narrow or wide plank engineered wood flooring to complement your home's aesthetic. We use a thick wear layer of 2.5mm–3mm to provide extra durability, allowing for many refinishes to extend the lifespan of your floors.

Engineered Wood Colours to Match Every Interior

From soft neutrals to rich tones, engineered wood flooring comes in a wide range of colours and grains to suit every space. Whether you’re styling a modern apartment or revamping a traditional home, there’s a shade to bring your vision to life.

Choose from light engineered wood for a clean, airy feel, or grey engineered wood for a contemporary and modern twist. For timeless warmth, explore our natural oak options, or go bold with dark wood floors that add depth to the space.

Can Engineered Wood be used with Underfloor Heating?

Yes! Engineered wood is one of the best flooring choices to use with underfloor heating. Its clever construction means it’s stable and solid, making it able to cope with changes in temperature and humidity well.

To get the most from your floor, always follow installation guidelines and use an underlay that’s suitable for underfloor heating if required. You’ll enjoy the natural beauty of real wood, with the added comfort of warmth underfoot, especially welcome in bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms.

Herringbone or Plank Engineered Wood?

Engineered wood flooring comes in a range of styles, but two of the most popular are plank and herringbone.

Plank flooring offers a classic look, with long boards that create a seamless, spacious effect, perfect for open-plan living areas.

Herringbone flooring, sometimes known as parquet flooring, features a striking zig-zag pattern that brings instant character to any room. It’s a great choice for hallways, dining rooms or anyone looking to add an element of luxury and detail to their home.
