The 10mm Series Elite Antique Oak Plank Laminate Flooring Troy is a brand new product from Florence, offering homeowners a robust yet aesthetically-pleasing flooring solution.
As a result of the AC4 heavy domestic grade laminate, the floor is perfect for use in all parts of a property, apart from the bathroom, and may also be ideal for small shops and offices.
The texture of the product is extremely eye-catching as it looks very much like real wood, while the depth and dimension of the planks are boosted by the bevelled edges on all four sides.
And because the offering is a Direct Pressure Laminate (DPL), it has fantastic impact resistance and wear ability due to the three-layer production process.
The flooring has a total thickness of 10mm, is 159mm wide and comes in standard lengths of 1,380mm.

Series Elite 10mm Antique Oak V Groove Laminate Flooring Installation Guide
Laminate floors are the most popular choice of wood flooring due to the fact the are very easy to install, can be installed in all areas of the house (except wet rooms) and are suitable for use over any type of subfloor including under floor heating.
Click system floating installation is the most common and DIY friendly installation method because it is the easiest and the fastest to do, can be installed over any type of subfloor and it does not require any special skills or prior experience in installing floors as the floors just clicks together with no need for any glue.
All floating flooring installations must use an approved underlay. Over a concrete subfloor you will need to use a underlay which has a built in vapour barrier like Cushion Plus White Underlay, while over a wooden subfloor you can use the Cushion Standard White Underlay. For installations over under floor heating we recommend using Cushion Heat Flow underlay. Superior underlays like Cushion Ultra Silver Underlay and Cushion Premium Black Underlay can be used to give better support to your new flooring which prolongs the life and also aids during installation by removing some minor imperfections from the sub-floor. Also for improved noise reduction we recommend the Cushion Acoustic Pro Underlay, bringing peace and quiet to the room.
Each board has a click profile on all four sides to join the boards together simply insert the tongue into the groove at a high angle and then push them down; the boards will then click together.
You will need to leave a 10mm expansion gap around the perimeter of the room. To maintain this gap during installation spacers are provided in the installation kits (purchased separately).
After you have installed the floor you can cover this expansion gap with scotia / beading or you can replace you old skirting boards with new ones, this gives a much more professional finish. The 10mm expansion gap also needs to be left in doorways where the floor follows through from one room to another; we have a full range of door profiles available to match your floor.

Laminate Flooring is extremely hygienic and easy to keep clean. Here are our recommendations to keep your Laminate Flooring looking beautiful for many years.
Routine cleaning requires just vacuuming, dusting with a clean, dry cloth, or a damp mop to prevent loose dirt or grit from scratching your floor's finish. Use non-staining walk-off mats by the entrance of all outside doorways. Use a damp mop to remove footmarks and most stubborn dirt. Always be sure that your mop has been thoroughly wrung out.
- Never wet mop, or use excessive amounts of water on your laminate floor.
- Never use scouring substances, abrasive cleaners, paste waxes or any floor polishes on your Laminate Floor.
- Marks and stubborn stains can easily be removed with Acetone nail polish remover or other mild solvents containing alcohol.
- Felt pads should be affixed to the base of all furniture legs and drip trays should be placed underneath any planted pots.
- Movable furniture should be fitted with wide, rubber rollers.
- The use of "soap-free" cleaners on a regular basis is all you need to do to keep your floor looking beautiful for many years.
- Use protective mats at exterior entrances and in heavy traffic areas

This is simple click and lock laminate. \n\nThe quality is amazing and looks like real oak floor, my friends cant believe its laminate. \n\nI would stress though when installing, it is so easy to click together that if it doesnt ease into place with a nice click first time you havent got the lining up right, do not force it because if you have to force it you are installing it wrong.
