It depends. Usually, we recommend installing your cabinets before your choice of flooring. Heavy cabinets can damage wood, laminate or vinyl floors. You also have the added bonus of not needing as much flooring!

Yes! Herringbone laminate or vinyl flooring are great choices for your kitchen. The timeless style, which is sometimes known as parquet kitchen flooring, makes a real statement in your home and works well with a range of decor styles.

Can I use engineered wood floors in my kitchen?

Yes, you can use engineered wood flooring in a kitchen. We would recommend speaking to one of our flooring specialists before making your decision as flooring made of real wood can be more susceptible to changes in heat and humidity, which can be common in kitchens.
