Lacquered Wood Flooring
Add the warmth of real wood to your home without worrying about spills and scratches by choosing from our lacquered flooring collection. Lacquered real wood is sealed with a clear coating that protects its surface while preserving its natural look.
Because the barrier is built up in layers and is fully sealed, it's durable and very easy to maintain. With little more than regular cleaning, lacquered real wood flooring will still look great after years and even decades.
It's hard to scratch and stain, so there's no need for constant sanding and renovating, and the strong, protected surface makes it a smart choice for areas subject to frequent footsteps.

What Is a Lacquered Real Wood Flooring?
Real wood floors are beloved for their beauty, but unfinished they'll become covered in stains and scratches, and they'll start to show the spots where people walk the most. Lacquer protects against this, bringing you the best of both worlds.
Lacquer itself is a clear coating that's applied in layers. It bonds with the surface of the wood, forming a smooth, hard film that completely seals it. This is what gives lacquered real wood its slight shine.
This protective shell also keeps out dirt, liquids and other potential sources of damage. They just sit on the surface where they can easily be wiped away, which is why lacquered wood is so easy to clean.
Choosing A Lacquered Flooring Finish
Real wood can transform spaces by adding warmth, elegance and grandeur. It goes well in rooms where we enjoy spending time, like the living and dining rooms, but often less so in busy, messy spaces like kitchens and hallways.
With the added protection of a lacquered finish, however, real wood becomes a real option in these areas.
You'll need to choose the right kind of wood, though. Solid wood does best in stable climates. Engineered is best elsewhere.
The boards you choose will also impact how your lacquered real wood floor looks. Wider boards and bright colours can create an impression of spaciousness, while narrow ones can look busy and vibrant.
Care & Maintenance of Lacquered Real Wood Floors
Lacquered real wood is very easy to clean and doesn't require much more than that to still look great after years.
Because the lacquer stops dirt and liquids actually coming into direct contact with the wood, they can simply be swept or wiped away. The floor can be thoroughly cleaned with a damp mop. Soaking it should be avoided.
Lacquer doesn't need to be regularly reapplied like the oil on floors with an oiled finish, but it can dull after a few years. Refinishing the wood at that time can help it last longer.
